over the past 5 years we have undergone a complete renovation of the roof and repainting of the outside walls, new flooring in all communal areas and most bedrooms; new laundry room, staff sleep in rooms and shower rooms.
We are a 24 bed residential care home that is in close walking distance to the seafront and town centre. The physical environment of the home is designed for the residents comfort and convenience.
We provide accommodation that meets with national minimum standards and make arrangements for the communal areas to be safe and comfortable. We maintain the buildings and grounds in a safe condition and ensure that the premises are kept clean, hygienic and free from unpleasant odours, with systems in place to control the spread of infection.
We ensure that the resident's bedrooms are comfortable and they have their own possessions around them if they wish. We ensure that people have the opportunity to make their own hot drink by providing tea/coffee making facilities in their own rooms. We have 1 ground floor, extra care, en-suit room, with shower and toileting facilities. We ensure that all rooms are decorated to the tastes and wishes of the residents.
We have 2 lounge areas, a dining room, patio area and outdoor smoking hut, 7 toileting facilities, 5 showers and 1 bath.
