COMMENTS from loved ones
We like working with the resident's family and friends to ensure that they have as much support and emotional input as possible. We believe that the better relationship residents have with their family, the happier and healthier they are. As such the opinion of family and friends is very important to us and we have annual surveys where we ask "how are we doing?" This helps us identify issues and improve upon our service.

Residents are treated with respect by the staff and there is a deep understanding of individual needs. There is great kindness and a happy atmosphere at York Lodge, along with a tremendous awareness of 'duty of care' which is fulfilled but never in a heavy-handed or authoritarian way.
